It has been three months since Get Raw Milk exposed the seed oil disrespect meme for being astroturfed to promote bug oil. It is not needed to do a deep dive into what Seed Oil Disrespector1 did, that has already been done. Instead, the more curious question of why his grift was successful will be discussed.
We Are Perfect Targets
The first step of creating a grift is finding a target audience. What a grifter looks for in his prey is rather simple. People that have a want that is unfulfilled, are not trustworthy of mainstream solutions, and not redpilled on the topic at hand. At the time, the dissident lifestyle community was just becoming popular on twitterDOTcom. Many new faces, who knew next to nothing about proper eating, were appearing left and right. They knew who they had to distrust, but had no idea about who was trustworthy.
SOD, probabling being instructed by the World Economic Forum, saw this community and joined it. He memed being anti-sneed oil into the mainstream. Eventually, his antics caught the attention of the institutional media. They connected being against vegetable oils to other “dissident2” groups such as cryptobros.
Notice how he was lumped in with a dissident group. In the world of health, raw milk drinkers and butter enjoyers are ridiculed are dissidents. Major institutions, such as the American Heart Association and the Food and Drug Administration, publicly speak out against these dietary recommendations.
This makes us vulnerable to grifters.
We reject the lifestyle choices that are mainstream, thus making us open to a wide variety of choices, no matter how beneficial or harmful. Thankfully, in this space, a harmful choice will be felt as harmful. Being a vegan will destroy you through malnourishment, for example. This means that grifters will generally recommend stuff that is beneficial for you.
This is a double edged sword, however. What separates a grift and a grindset is that a grift is harmful. Often times, a grifter prevents your full awakening or harms your wallet. Other times, the grifter benefits you in one way but harms you in another. SOD was both. He spoke out against lard and made his followers scared to use that wonderful fat.
Spotting a Grifter
Thankfully, grifters tend to glow like a laser tag match between the FBI and ATF. There are several clear signs that your favorite health guru is a grifter. They are listed below.
Is a doctor. A doctor worthy of trust is a rare sight.
Sells a product that you could get for much cheaper elsewhere.
Starts shilling for a new startup almost immediately after it makes a public appearance.
They keep a brand friendly image to appeal to normies.
Poor fizeck
Goes from community to community. The most common is carnivore to peatarian.
Plagiarizes content from others.
Remember, just because an account shows one of these red flags does not mean they are a grifter. It is when they show multiple that alarm bells should ringing. For example, Raw Egg Nationalist shows extreme interest in Acorn Bluff Farms, a recent mangalitsa pork startup. This not make him a grifter because this company is not harmful. It is likely he is being paid to promote them, but that just makes it a grindset.
What separates a grift and a grindset is that a grift is harmful.
An Example
Carnivore Aurelius shows several of the redflags listed below. The account is ran by a wahman pretending to be a man named Caeleah Taylor, or by a margetting firm she is an employee of. Both are bad. It is best to assume the former as she was the only person listed on the state filings for Carnivore Aurelius LLC.
Running through the list…
1. is a doctor. A doctor worthy of trust is a rare sight.
While Carnivore Aurelius is not a doctor herself, she has this little pin on many articles on her website. Simping for doctors is never a good sign…
2. Sells a product that you could get for much cheaper elsewhere.
The main way Taylor makes her money is through selling liver jerky. for $9 per 15 oz. $7.5 if you subscribe to have it delivered every month. It is not hard to find a pound (16 oz.) of liver for $2.5. Meaning that assuming you subscribe, you are paying 3 times the amount of money for a product you could make yourself if you owned a dehydrator. Even still, you should not dehydrate liver. Ray Peat tells why here:
"Desiccated liver contains oxidized tryptophan, cysteine, vitamin A, ubiquinone, and many other harmful things." — Ray Peat
She does not produce the liver chips through her own company btw. She buys ‘em wholesale from here and puts them in branded packaging.
4. They keep a brand friendly image to appeal to normies.
Looking through the comment sections of tweets reveals bitcoin-normies and those that choose what to eat based on memes. Even the based tweets about leftists being soyboys are lukewarm.
6. Goes from community to community. The most common is carnivore to peatarian.
Carnivore Aurelius was originally part of the carnivore community, but that well dried up and many carni4tards became peatarians or peatarian-lites. Caeleah followed suit and started advocating for carb consumption. There are many disagreeable aspects of the Zerocarb diet, but it is strange how every carnivore influencer only realized them when Paul Saladino stopped being a pure carnivore.
7. Plagiarizes content from others.
This would not be an issue if Carnivore Aurelius was not using the content of others to farm clicks to promote her liver jerky. Even back when she was in the carnivore space, it was known that she would plagiarize the posts of others. It is pretty clear that this “dissident” anon account is ran by an opportunist that just reposts the content of others for profit. There is a difference between natural meme evolution and simply copy and pasting. As Sol Bruh points out:
She does not latch onto raising memes but has a number of accounts she takes her points from.
EXTRA:
She still follows SOD on twitterDOTcom.
It is understandable if you’re buying jerky from Carnivore Aurelius if you dislike the taste of it. However, you do not need to suffer the nutritional loses of dehydrated, or even cooked, liver!
Freezing a liver pâté creates an easy way to get raw liver into your diet.
Instructions:
Blend throughly
Pour onto tray and spread thinly
Freeze overnight
Slice and store sealed
The reason you blend the liver first is that blended liver is easier to melt in sauces, raw egg smoothies, stroganoff, etc. Freezing prevents the liver from being cooked during this process, thus allowing an easy way to sneak raw liver into the diet.

Shortened to SOD when mentioned later in the article
The time of dissident libertarians using bitcoin to buy firearms online is long gone. Bitcoin is now just the neckbeard redditor’s crypto. Use Monero.
